TOM Murray has missed the the cut for the third and fourth days of play in the Alfred Dunhill Championship in South Africa after posting a 2-over par score of 74 this morning.
Starting at 7.10am tied 84th after his par opening round at Leopard Creek in Malelane, yesterday, the Lymm debutant on the European Tour opened with a birdie.
He was still one-under par until the 14th and level until the 448-yard 17th, where a double bogie sent him falling down the order.
Murray said on Twitter: "Tried my best last 2 days but with the way I'm swinging it the task was near impossible! Fearing it left and right = stressful golf #gutted."
He finished tied 100th from a field of 156 starters.
