Moore return to winning ways

MOORE returned to winning ways in a challenging contest at Ashton on Mersey on Saturday.
The visitors put early points on the board following a scrum with a penalty from Johnston.
They continued to assert pressure and Wadsworth soon crossed with Johnston adding the points.
Ashton upped their game and forced Moore to defend for the remainder, scoring twice in the process.
A quick start to the second half saw Taylor score with Johnston adding the points again, followed by Johns creating an opportunity for Cunningham to crash over.
Johnston kicked another penalty and, despite players from both sides receiving red cards, Moore held on.
