GREENALLS PSO could not stop Linotype CHN moving to the top of the Cheshire League Premier Division.
They were 3-0 losers to the table-toppers, who benefitted from brothers Kingsley and Leon Grandison both netting.
In the JA Walton Challenge Cup, Moore United were beaten 4-0 at home to Penlake while Daten went down 4-3 to Irlam Reserves despite goals for Dave Wright, Jake Hodgkiss and Mustapaha Bouamra.
Grappenhall Sports Reserves were beaten 2-0 by Pilkington in the Reserve League Cup, while Greenalls’ reserves offered some revenge for the first team’s loss with a 4-1 win over Linotype.
