WARRINGTON racing drivers were out in force again at Oulton Park over the weekend with five of the town’s participants taking part and finishing in podium positions.
Medina Motorsport’s clutch of Warrington drivers, comprising brothers David and Tom McArthur, and joined by Chris Chisnell, driving in identical 1600cc Formula Fords, nearly locked out the first race starting grid by taking second, third, and fourth.
In the race, after some hard driving, Chris Chisnell finished second, Tom McArthur in third and David McArthur fourth.
In the second race, the finishing order was slightly different, with David McArthur second, Stuart Chisnell third, and Tom McArthur fourth.
In the VW Funcup four-hour endurance race, Warrington-based Scarab Racing consisting of Bram de Groot and Stephen Johansen with Scott Kavanagh, finished in 15th place.
