Oldham St Anne’s A 40 Woolston Rovers A 22
WOOLSTON produced a sterling performance away at Oldham in the North West Men’s League Division Two on Saturday but succumbed to defeat.
The first half saw the home side dominate and went in at the break with a 24-6 advantage.
The Rovers try came from second row Tom Fagan.
The second half was a much more even affair, but despite tries from Dan Fearnley and Ben Vernon, it wasn’t enough as St Anne’s prevailed.
