THE English Half Marathon took place in Warrington on Sunday over the usual course with Warrington Athletic Club runners taking part.
Former British international marathon runner Andy Green finished in second place behind former Warrington runner Danny Cliffe in 74mins32secs to take the first over 50s prize.
In fourth place was his younger brother Graham in 76mins24secs to take second place in the over 45s age group.
Mervyn Ward came 104th in 91mins16secs to finish second over 55s, Adam Green, Graham’s son, came 113th in 91mins37secs, Ladislav Taric came 233rd in 95mins49secs, and Kelly Crossley came 344th in 1hr41mins27secs.
