LYMM produced an excellent second-half display to come from behind a claim a win at Westoe in the National League Three North on Saturday.
Fluent handling got Lymm close to the try line where scrum half Tom Baker went over for a try neatly converted by Cormac Nolan.
However, Westoe responded immediately Lymm found themselves 15-7 down at the break.
Nolan got Lymm back track in the second half through two early penalties before Sam Mullarkey added a try for Lymm to take the lead.
Joe Knowles then made a 40-yard break but was halted just short of the line.
Lymm drove Westoe off the ball at the subsequent scrum and Tom Baker was on hand to score his second try.
Lymm were now chasing a fourth try for a bonus point and over-eagerness spoiled a number of promising moves with just an exchange of penalties completing the scoring at 18-28.
Lymm seconds brushed past Waterloo without any trouble in the Standish Media Services Division One on Saturday.
Lymm were on the front foot from the off and tries from Bertie Ridley-Thomas and James Lewis as well as a Tom Shard penalty saw the home side race into a 15-0 lead.
Waterloo reduced the deficit with an unconverted try to make the score 15-5 at half time.
A second-half tries for Richie McEvoy followed by a reply from Waterloo settled the game at 22-10 and a good win for Lymm.
