WARRINGTON Wolves player Matty Russell has revealed his fat lip after a challenge on Saturday left him unconscious.
Scans have shown there is no fracture to his skull or jaw, but Russell will need several teeth removing.
It appears the full back has had a lucky escape after fears were initially raised over his neck and head during the play off game against Widnes.
Tony Smith admitted after the game that he was concerned about the 21-year-old, who was taken straight to hospital after being knocked unconscious for nearly 10 minutes.
But the Scotland international took to Twitter at the weekend to reassure fans he was okay and thank them for their messages of support.
Thanks for the messages, been quite lucky scans are all good neck and head.. Teeth knocked out n bad lip. Part and parcel of playing tho
