WOLVES' draw with Huddersfield Giants last night felt like it delivered more conjecture in the final quarter than in most games this season.
Was Leroy Cudjoe offside, by not standing square at the play-the-ball, when he intercepted Michael Monaghan's dummy-half pass in the build-up to Danny Brough's equalising last-gasp drop goal?
And what about that voluntary tackle in the final play of the game that, if awarded by referee Ben Thaler, would have handed Gareth O'Brien a penalty goal from almost in front of the sticks with what would have been the final kick of the match?
Should Wolves have taken the two points on offer a little earlier, from in front of the sticks, when they led 24-23 instead of running the penalty instead, hence forcing Huddersfield to seek out a try rather than a point-securing drop goal.
And then there was the second try scored by Ben Harrison, pictured above. The video referee awarded the score with 'benefit of the doubt' but there were doubters.
In the picture above, the ball can just be seen between Michael Lawrence's boot and shin.
Do you reckon the ball touches the line or not? You decide! If you had been the video referee and had this picture to decide from, was it a try or not?
