Tetley B have won Section B following their 10-4 win over Woolston A. John Bramhall and John Bradshaw shared the sweep with 21-6 cards, while Steve Gilfedder replied with 21-15.

Rylands A clinched the runners-up spot with a 12-2 victory over Stag A, where Stuart McIntyre, 21-2, and Alan Brettle, 21-4, took the pats on the back. John Howson replied with a 21-16 win.

GESM A recorded an 8-7 success at St Oswalds B, with Mick Cartwright the star performer with 21-10. John Bradbury and Neil Dolan responded with 21-9 cards.

Viaduct secured the Section C title despite suffering a 10-4 loss at Padgate T&BC. Ken Rawlinson, 21-4, and Steven Brown, 21-9, helped to chop down the champions.

Wins from Craig Taylor, 21-1, and Ken Taylor, 21-3, helped Monks Hall defeat Penketh BC 9-5.

Orford WM B dumped Woolston B 11-4. Leading roles were played by Joe Shaw, 21-6, and Alan Bruce, 21-7.

Following their bye week, Section A leaders Golborne CMC are just one win away from taking the title.

St.Oswalds A defeated Orford WM A to keep the pressure on.

King and Queen A scored a 262-142 win at Crosfields A, where Brendan Brady, 21-1, and Dave Twigg, 21-3, stunned opponents.

Martin Deakin, 21-8, helped Tetley A defeat Grange A 252-229.

Penketh Tavern head Section D after defeating Monk Sports A 10-5. Glen Herriott stood out with 21-9, while Chris Adams took the home sweep, 21-5.

Third placed Tetley C reduced the gap to second placed Rylands B defeating them 10-4, with Colin McAlinden, 21-10, and Tony McCarron, 21-11, the best winners.
