RYLANDS set a good target but were held to a draw against Bowdon Vale in the Cheshire Cricket Alliance Division Two on Saturday.

The Warrington side won the toss and chose to bat, reaching 261 for 5 with the help of Brady, 84, and Peters, 72 not out.

Rylands were in a good position to take the win when Vale went in to bat with Bowdon soon falling well behind the required run rate.

Vale managed to hold out and finished their innings on 139 for 4.
