GRAPPENHALL thirds claimed vital points beating Bramhall by five wickets in a Cheshire County Sunday Premier League relegation fight.

Bramhall were struggling early on with 60 for 5 on the board but managed to gather themselves and finish on 188 for 8 after 13-year-old Cole Higham claimed his first senior wicket.

Grappenhall made light work of the chase with Ben Clissold, 84, and Kerry Anderson, 69, setting a solid foundation before debutant George Anderson came in to replace his dad and post a match-winning 15 not out.
