Tigers share spoils with reigning champions
APPLETON Tigers won one and lost one against last year’s champions Chester in a mixed week.
In the Twenty20 match, Kathryn Jackson took 3 for 9 as Chester were held to 90 for 6.
Appleton could only manage 63 for 3 in reply with 25 of those coming from Sami Fowler.
In their Division One encounter, Appleton put on 102 all out against accurate bowling, with Emma Barlow getting 41.
Jen Clarke grabbed four wickets for just 12 runs to help keep Chester to 87 for 9 and seal victory for the Tigers.
