WARRINGTON schools will be well-represented in the Cheshire Squad that travels to the Alexander Stadium in Birmingham for the English Schools' National Track and Field Championships on Friday.

From Lymm High School is 3000m senior boys runner Cameron Field, 1500m inter boys runner Daniel Evans, inter girls 3000m runner Sarah McGrail, junior girls middle-distance runners Melissa Boyer, 800m, and Lauren Ferris, 1500m.

Kelly Chadwick, from Penketh High School, will compete in the junior girls 100m, while Christleton High School’s Isobel Griffin-Morris will compete in the discus in the same category.

Carys McAuley will run the 800m for Cheshire’s inter girls, with fellow Bridgewater High School student Ben Sutcliffe competing in the inter boys 110m hurdles alongside Great Sankey High School’s Cameron Meakin.

Alysha Goddard, from Priestley College, will run in the senior girls 1500m steeplechase and Warrington Athletics Club member Fisya Williamson-Taylor, a Grange School student, the junior boys 100m.
