JEFF Perkin enjoyed the best of weather for his Captain's Day at Poulton Park Golf Club.
He witnessed Ryan Willis beat James Thompson on count back to first place and the prize of a signed Ryder picture.
In Willis’ second year as a member he is beginning to find his game, having reduced his handicap by 10 shots since joining to 14.
Results: Ryan Willis 81-18=63; James Thompson 76-13=63; Ray Barnes 88-24=64.
Steve Mayor took his first Seniors’ Championship win with a gross score of 82 enough to beat Derek Dillon by three shots.
However, the roles were reversed when it came to the net prize as illon won by three shots with Mayor runner-up on count back from Maurice Bramhall and Roger Kemp.
Results: Derek Dillon 85-17=68; Steve Mayor 82-11=71; Maurice Bramhall 92-21=71; Roger Kemp 91-20=71.
