SIMON Grix could miss the trip to Hull FC on Friday after suffering a reoccurrence of the shoulder injury that saw him face a lenghty lay-off earlier in the season.

Grix’s shoulder dislocated against Bradford Bulls before popping back in by the time the medical team arrived on field, but Smith says he may now face a spell on the sidelines.

Simon Grix’s shoulder popped out again,” said Smith. “By the time the physio got to him it had popped back in and Grixy thought he might have the chance of carrying on.

“But that’s not the case, so we’ll assess where he is. He’s only just come back from that problem recently, he’s had another setback so we’ll see where it is through the week for Grixy because he was playing well again.

“Gene (Ormsby) had a little bit of ankle (injury) in the first half but apart from that we’re in good shape – it’s a quick turnaround this week as we’ve got Hull FC on Friday.”
