A SEVEN-wicket master class from fast bowler Sam Stanier sent Glazebury steaming into the semi-finals of the Cheshire Alliance Cup on Sunday with a win over Division Two side Maritime.

Stanier picked up 7 for 20 in six overs and Hakeem Dahou claimed 3 for 7 bowling the visitors out for 30.

Dean Lord and Wayne Hargreaves rattled off the required runs in seven overs to seal a 10-wicket win and a place in the last four.

Glazebury's cup win came as a much needed lift after defeat to Appleton in Cheshire Cricket Alliance Division One on Saturday.

Glazebury were dismissed for just 87 before Appleton got home for the loss of four wickets.
