Crosfields A 39 New Springs Lions 32

CROSFIELDS jumped into third in the league with a scrappy win over New Springs Lions in the North West Men’s League Division Four on Saturday.

A Crosfields debut for u18s Ben Steele saw him play alongside his dad Roger Steele and set him up for two of his three tries.

Other try scorers for Crosfields were Phil Atherton, two, Tom Caswell, and Ben Steele, with Craig Lawton hitting five goals and Luke Cunningham with a drop goal.
