HULL Kingston Rovers host Wolves for the second time this season.

Tony Smith’s side came out on top the first time round with a 24-28 success, a victory that knocked the hosts out of the Tetley’s Challenge Cup at the first hurdle.

It was also only Wolves’ second win in six outings in East Hull, with their last away victory against the Robins before this season coming in 2011.

Following Wolves’ triumph in early April, the sides met again at The Halliwell Jones Stadium five days later and it was Craig Sandercock’s outfit who left boasting the bragging rights.

They inflicted a 25-12 defeat on the primrose and blue boys in Super League Round 8, compounding what was a difficult start to the campaign for Wolves.

However, seven league games later it is Wolves who enter Round 16 the in-form side with five wins, plus two cup successes, since their last meeting.

The Robins, who have had an extra week to prepare due to an early cup exit, lost at Castleford Tigers last time out.

They have won two of their last five fixtures, losing to Catalan and Widnes and drawing with Salford, before wins over rivals Hull FC at the Magic Weekend and London were followed by the Castleford loss.

Hull KR are troubled by a growing injury list which sees utility man Ben Cockyane sidelined with a knee problem, while back-rowers Kevin Larroyer and Jordan Cox are also out.

Sean Gleeson, aged 26, has retired after a serious eye injury.

Australian prop Michael Weyman is available though due to a two-match ban being lifted on appeal this week
