Ladies' boost ahead of nationals
WARRINGTON Rowing Club’s ladies won at both Northwich and Trentham regattas as they prepare for the National Championships and Women's Henley.
The women’s four, which was coxed by George McCormick and consisted of Carole Green, Charlotte Moll, Charlotte Brennan, and Gill Laidlaw, won the intermediate three division in Northwich beating crews from Trafford and Pengwern along the way.
The same crew then entered Trentham regatta in the higher division of intermediate two and beat Runcorn in the final.
