Latchford 60 Accrington 10 LATCHFORD returned to winning ways with a 12-try romp over Accrington in North West Men’s League Division Two on Saturday.
Despite the visitors opening the scoring, Latchford dominated the first half.
The hosts were comfortable at the break with a 30-6 lead thanks to tries from debutant Jamie Birchall two, Damion Lyon, Ryan Hickman, and Martin Whitehead, two, with Sam Dobson converting two and Lewis Wightman one.
The pressure continued in the second half with Whitehead completing his hat-trick along with scores from Kyle Cherratt, Cameron Davies, Craig Middlemore, Joe Clarke, and Wightman who also kicked three more goals.
