WOOLSTON Rovers are in confident mood ahead of their home fixture against Blackbrook in Kingstone press National conference League Division Three tonight, Thursday, kick-off 7.30pm.

After Rovers moved up to fourth place in the league after a hard fought victory over Peterlee Pumas on Saturday, Head Coach Lee Westwood says his side are happy with the win and are looking to build on their momentum going into the game against second place Blackbrook.

モThey had a completely different side to when we played them away a few weeks ago having strengthened substantially and they really did have a dig,ヤ said Westwood.

モBut we ensured that there would be no upset by keeping our composure and closing the game out in the final quarter and the win will hopefully give us confidence going forward.

モThese are the kind of games that we like to be involved in and it should be an absolute cracker because Blackbrook have been in fine form having lost just two games and drawn one so they will be coming with high hopes of getting the win.

モI have faith in my lads that they will be able to step up to the mark and put in a performance that will get us the right result.ヤ Anyone interested in joining the club can contact secretary Nikki Whalley on 07889 170895 or e-mail woolstonroversrl@hotmail.co.uk for further details.
