ANTHONY England is now catching the eye in Warrington Wolves' front row.

The prop, brought in from Championship club Featherstone Rovers, is putting form together alongside Chris Hill as the starting pair.

Bradford's pack had difficulty stopping England's rampaging bursts while he was busy in defence too in the Challenge Cup quarter-final tie at the Provident Stadium, Odsal.

"That was his best game and he was pretty good last week too against Leeds," said Wolves' head of coaching and rugby.

"I certainly think he's coming up to the speed of Super League."

Smith felt former New Zealand skipper Roy Asotasi also delivered his best yet in primrose and blue.

As of late, Asotasi was introduced from the bench late in the first half.

Smith said: "It's taken a little time for Roy to adapt to Super League because it is totally different.

"You switch on NRL and Super League and it's played under all different rules and in all different ways.

"It takes time to find your feet, just like it does coming for the Championship to Super League in Anthony's case.

"Anthony's made a great transition. We were confident he would and he's coming along good."
