WARRINGTON Athletics Club’s under 13s and under 15s team finished third in the second match of the season at their Victoria Park home.

They achieved nine victories in A events and five in B events with 100m and 200m double wins from Ben Robinson, under 13s boys’, and Fisayo Williamson-Taylor, under 15s boys’.

Under 15s girls’ Hannah Shaw won both the 75m hurdles and high jump. Other wins came from Lauren Ferris, under 15s girls’ 800m going under 2mins 20secs for the first time, Melissa Boyer and Lauren Goddard in the A and B under 15s girls’ 1500m and Isobel Bircumshaw in the under 15s girls’ B hammer.

Anna Turner topped the under 13s girls’ B 70m hurdles while in the boys’ events under 15s runner Daniel Fox won the B 1500 metres and in the under 13s boys’ 800 metres Sam Evans and Lucas Hayes won the A and B races.
