GLAZEBURY suffered another defeat in Division One of the Cheshire Cricket Alliance as they were comfortably beaten at Old Parkonians.
The Wirral side were dismissed for 128 before tea to set up the chance of a first win in five for the visitors, but Glazebury were never in serious contention in their run chase as Simon Green's 27 not out was the only resistance in a total of 72 all out.
Back at Hurst Lane, Glazebury second team faced a tough assignment against league leaders Maritime in Division Four when the visitors responded well to being put into bat to post 175 for 8 in their 45 overs.
Dave Nicholson's four wickets for 24 runs was the pick of the bowling for Glazebury, while there were also two wickets each for Bruce Jardine and Sean Caine.
Gary Dunlop’s knock of 32 could not stop Glazebury being dismissed for 57.
