WOOLSTON fell to an agonising defeat to Portico Vine in a thrilling North West Men’s League Division Two encounter on Saturday with the lead changing hands six times.
Rovers’ tries came from man-of-the-match Darren Hill, two, Danny Griffiths, two, Josh Woods, Josh Sudlow.
Hill was sin-binned for a late challenge with the score tied at 30-30 on 70 minutes which proved the difference.
