WARRINGTON Wolves' Ben Westwood has been banned for three matches.
An independent tribunal found Wolves' experienced joint skipper guilty of a Grade D dangerous throw on Wakefield Trinity Wildcats prop Scott Anderson on Sunday.
Westwood has a right to appeal, with the sanction set to see him miss the visit by league leaders Leeds Rhinos on Friday, the following weekend's Challenge Cup quarter-final tie at Bradford Bulls and the Super League trip to Hull KR on June 13.
