BURTONWOOD suffered a narrow defeat to Bolton Mets after letting slip a comfortable lead.

The home side took control of the North West Men’s League Division Three game early on with two tries from Chris Ross and one from Andy Forber.

Bolton fought back in the second half and a try from Jos Blackburn Woods was not enough to hold on.
