TONY Smith has made five changes to the side that destroyed St Helens for today’s clash with Wakefield Trinity Wildcats at the Rapid Solicitors Stadium.

The Monaghan brothers do not feature and Richie Myler returns.

Joel Monaghan’s absence hands Ben Currie a first start at centre in the top flight, while Micky Higham opens at hooker instead of Michael Monaghan.

James Laithwaite replaces the injured Trent Waterhouse in the back row, with Myler and Brad Dwyer both coming into the line-up on the bench.

That means Stefan Ratchford and Chris Bridge start in the halves, but that partnership is expected to be broken up to make way for Myler at some stage – with Ratchford or Bridge likely to go into the centre allowing Currie to provide cover in the forwards.
