GLAZEBURY second team suffered defeat to the Groves at Hurst Lane in the Cheshire Cricket Alliance Division Four.
Glazebury made 87, with Ian McCue and Gary Ayre top-scoring with 18 each.
Groves’ opener then appeared to nick the first ball from Chris Ayre, 3-22, through to father Gary. The batsman stood his ground, was given not out and proceeded to score 46 of Groves’ 88-6.
