WOOLSTON Rovers return to action after two weekends without a game when they travel to Coventry Bears on Saturday in the Kingstone Press National Conference League Division Three.

Rovers go into the game looking to make it three wins on the bounce but will be wary of a tough Coventry Bears side who they suffered defeat to at home in their first league game of the season.

“We are really keen to get our season off and running now,” said Rovers head coach Lee Westwood.

“We have won our last two games so we can gain confidence from that but we know that it is always a tough place to go and we will need to be at our best from the off.”

Despite defeat on the opening day of the season, Westwood feels his side have improved and have a much better chance of beating Bears this time around.

“Coventry turned us over late on at the beginning of March so we know that they are a very dangerous side but I feel that we have improved immensely since then and hopefully we can take that form into this game and come away with a very valuable two league points.”
