GREENALLS Padgate St Oswalds finished their Cheshire Football League Reserve season in fine form as they stormed to a 7-3 win away at Denton Town.

Ben McWilliams took his season total to 40 goals as he bagged four on the team's last outing.

This was added to by a brace from Billy Bennett and a goal from Ellis Houghton.

They now have to sit top of the table and wait to see if they can retain their title or if Whaley Bridge will steal their crown.

Whaley Bridge are three points behind leaders and current champions Greenalls PSO with two games remaining.

BARNTON remain outsiders in the title race as they sit six points behind leaders Greenalls with two games in hand.

They can only win the league if they increase their goal difference by 15 goals and Whaley Bridge slip up in their last two games.

TOM Buckley scored the only goal in Grappenhall Sport's 1-0 win at Styal, while Jack Challinor and Mike Leigh, two, scored in Daten's 3-2 win over Pilkington.

STYAL finished their season with a 3-2 defeat at home to Eagle Sports, while Eagle went on to beat Linotype CHN 7-1.

Andrew Dawson bagged four times with further goals coming from Danny Burthem, Jackson Heywood and veteran Gary Moriarty.

RYLANDS started the week with a 4-4 draw against Gamesley before losing 4-3 at Billinge, while Middlewich Town ended a very tough season on a high as they beat Poynton 1-0 with Sam Keeney scoring the decisive goal.
