LATCHFORD bowed out of the Warrington Carlsberg Cup after a tough afternoon against rivals Crosfields.
Although a clear gulf between the sides, any chance of an upset was ended before kick off when five players were unavailable due to work commitments or injury.
Latchford credited the under 18s players who stepped up to take the field. Crosfields were 28-0 up at the break and comfortably ran out winners but Latchford never gave up and were unlucky not to get on the scoreboard.
