WOOLSTON Rovers are set to take on Hindley in a rearranged Kingstone Press National Conference League Division Three encounter on Saturday.
Rovers were originally due to play Wigan St Cuthberts tomorrow, Friday, but the Wigan side decided to withdraw from the league last week.
So now Hindley will visit Monks Sports Club for a 2.30pm kick off.
“Hindley have registered some very impressive wins so far this term and we will need to be at our best to get another win,” said Rovers head coach Lee Westwood.
“They are just above us in the league table having played a game more so if we can get the victory on Saturday then it will see us move ahead of them.”
Westwood added: “We know that we have plenty of hard work ahead of us if we are to reach the goals that we have set.
“But I am sure that once we get a settled side together then we will start troubling the teams above us.”
Woolston bounced back to winning ways at the weekend with an excellent 50-20 victory at Heworth.
“I was delighted with how all of the 17 did at Heworth,” added Westwood.
“We had nine changes from the defeat to Crosfields but the lads that came in really did themselves and the club proud.”
