LATCHFORD’s unbeaten record came to an end in North West Men’s League Division Two on Saturday.
A blip in performance from the table-topping side saw them defeated by Portico Vine.
Latchford’s try scorers were Dave Levenston, two, Sam Dobson, two, and Kyle Sherratt.
“While Portico’s tactics of spoiling and slowing the play down made for a scrappy game, Latchford had enough quality to have won the game but a combination of wrong choices cost them the chance,” said Latchford director of rugby Mike Byron.
A bumper crowd is expected when Albion entertain Crosfields in the Warrington Carlsberg Cup at Victoria Park Arena on Saturday, kick off 2.30pm
