BANK Quay Bulls progressed to the semi finals of the North West Men’s League Cup thanks to victory over Folly Lane.
The lead changed hands several times in the opening period with Folly taking the lead twice either side of a Glyn Roberts try converted by Chris Forster.
After that Bulls kicked on, scoring three tries in nine minutes through Forster, Sean Boyle and Eddie Vaughan, with Forster converting two for a 22-10 half-time lead.
Nick Braide scored early in the second half but Forster was sent to the sin bin and Folly sparked a comeback. Ste Caley’s 73rd minute try converted by Roberts continued Bulls’ cup run.
