WARRIORS of Warrington’s 12-year-old Para-Swimmers Coral Farrell and Adele Maguire enjoyed a fantastic Easter Weekend at the host pool for the Commonwealth Games this summer.

Both qualified for all seven events open to their classifications and swam with Team GB's finest and competitors from all over the World.

The swimmers took their last chance to swim at the venue before returning next year for the World Championships. Both girls represented Warriors in an event that doubled up as trials for the major meets this summer.

Swimming on a multi-class basis their times were converted into points by how close their swim was to the World Record. Both managed to secure new personal bests in each event.

Coral made two youth finals and swam against some of the world’s best under 17s, coming a ninth in the 400m Freestyle and 100m Butterfly. Adele made the youth final in the 100m Butterfly and finished seventh, both improving on their heat times and swimming against older competitors.
