Warrington Town Reserves 3 Grappenhall Sports 2
WARRINGTON Town scored two injury time goals to snatch a win in the Cheshire League Division Two local derby against Grappenhall Sports.
The win wrapped up Town Reserves’ first season in the league.
Warrington got off to a flyer when Dylan Glass tapped in a low cross from six yards after 30 seconds, before a Grappenhall player had even touched the ball.
Sports soon got in to the game, and goals by Daniel Sisson and Tom Swann ensured they arrived at half time with a deserved 2-1 lead.
Town grasped victory from the jaws of defeat with two quick-fire goals in the final five minutes courtesy of Chris Bandell and Liam Turner.
"This is a hard one to take for us especially in a derby and for 80 minutes off that game we were the better team and comfortable,” said Grappenhall Sports manager Darren Davies.
