ROVERS returned to action with a convincing victory at Peterlee Pumas in the Kingstone Press National Conference League Division Three on Saturday.
Woolston opened the scoring after three minutes courtesy of a Jordan Millington debut try before Christian Taylor went over two minutes later.
Rovers were well on their way when Taylor’s magnificent solo effort set up Danny O’Brien to add the extras, before Sean Conway followed suit with a 30-metre race home.
Two more tries from Danny Brown and Gavin Bishop before the break gave Rovers a 32-0 lead at half time.
Pumas proved to be far more resilient in the second half with the only try coming in the 54th minute through substitute Mark Robinson.
