WARRINGTON Hockey Club celebrated a successful 2013-14 season for all four teams at their annual awards dinner.

Ben Vickers was leading goal scorer for the men’s first team, who came second in their league, and was also recognised as players’ player of the season for the second year running.

Ben’s dad, Mike Vickers kept the trophies in the family as he won second team leading goal scorer.

Scott McCue won second team player of the season in his first year playing hockey.

Steph Rawlins won the women’s first team leading goal scorer with midfielder Kate Connolly getting player of the season for her assured performances.

Chloe Sutch and Lydia Turton were women’s second team goal scorer and best player respectively.

Geoff Stott presented the Chairman’s award to newcomer Matt Dunn for his incredibly enthusiastic celebration after scoring his first ever goal.
