Runners tackle Halewood 5k
FIVE Warrington Athletics Club runners took part in the Halewood 5K road race on Saturday.
First to finish was 12-year-old Sam Evans in sixth place with a personal best 17mins 28secs.
Sam was followed home by 11-year-old Jordan Jones, 16th, in 18mins 38secs; and Jenny Smith, 48th, 20mins 36secs.
Dave Tomkins, 57th, 21mins 39secs, finished first of the over 65s and Neville Jones, 105th, 34mins 6secs, was first of the over 75s.
