Grange Sports 2 Fife Rangers 4 (pens)
A LARGE crowd saw Fife edge Grange Sports out of the cup with a thrilling penalty shoot out, after a nervy and scrappy encounter saw both sides trying to break the deadlock well into the second half.
Fife took the lead with only 15 minutes to go when the centre forward ran onto a long ball and chipped the keeper.
Grange’s problems increased with the dismissal of Wes Dolphin, for dangerous play, but they threw everything at Fife and were rewarded with the equaliser in the dying moments to force the game into extra time.
A saved penalty and missed chances saw Grange come away empty handed.
