WOOLSTON Rovers return to action in the Kingstone Press National Conference League Division Three this coming Saturday when they travel to Huddersfield to face Underbank Rangers.

The coach leaves Monks Sports Club at 11.30am and any supporters wishing to travel can contact Nikki Whalley on 07889 170895 to secure your seat.

Rovers will be hoping to build on their hard-fought victory at Eastmoor last time out as they bid to end Underbank’s 100% start to the season.

Head coach Lee Westwood said: “We will have had another two weeks training together since we played at Eastmoor so that should have enabled us to correct some areas that we needed to work on.

“We know that this will be our most difficult game to date but it is one that the lads are relishing and we will be going their full of confidence and looking to bring back another well earned two points.

“There were some very encouraging signs in our win at Eastmoor especially in our defensive work and that will be something that we will need to have spot on this week as they are a strong attacking side.

“I am delighted with how the boys are going in training; they all want to improve themselves and that augurs well for us as we attempt to string a run of good results together.”
