GRAPPENHALL Sports bounced back from a midweek defeat at Congleton to make it four wins out of five in Cheshire Football League Division Two.
Dan Sisson and James Derbyshire put Sports in front.
A defensive error brought Sandbach back into the game before half time.
Ryan Crawford extended the lead on 60 minutes but Sandbach’s second from a corner led to a nervy finish.
Darren Davies, Grappenhall manager, said: “We have beaten a very good team and the players were tremendous.
“The game should have been finished earlier and we shouldn't have been in a position where the final moments were nervy.
“But we’ve taken 12 points from the last 15 and put in some great performances this month.”
