SHARKS' second team’s involvement in the NWML Shield competition was short lived as they were defeated by a much larger Folly Lane outfit.
Poor tackling saw them down 30-6 at half time.
Sharks’ points came via a try for half back Matty Ryan and a Sam Brinksman conversion.
Despite good performances from half backs Ryan and Ben Kenwright well supported by forwards Mark McArdle, Matty Mairs and Mal Mason the hosts added another 22 points in the second period that earned them a place in the next round.
