Daten 4 Sanbach United 1
DATEN produced an outstanding all-round performance in a 4-1 victory at Cheshire Football League Division Two promotion contenders Sandbach United.
Liam Leicester opened the scoring for Daten with a header before half time.
Sandbach equalised five minutes into the second half before Jack Hodgkiss slotted in the second after the hour mark.
Greg Freeman and Adam Whitty finished the scoring to ensure the Daten took the points home and climbed up to seventh in the table.
Manager Brian Mather said afterwards: "It was our best performance of the season by far, we kept possession very well and took our chances.
“We kept Sandbach on the back foot making it very difficult for them."
They face top-of-the-table Poynton away on Saturday which will be another tough test for the Culcheth side.
