West Bank Bears A 0 Rylands Sharks 66

THE Sharks' opening league fixture was a very much one sided affair against an overawed West Bank side at Widnes.

Strong running by Sharks' forwards was too much for the home side with Sharks turning round at half time 0-44 up with tries coming from Luke Walker, three, Matty Wilson, Jack Lewis, Matthew Taylor, Carl Lloyd and Rob Campbell with a conversion for Taylor and five from Lewis.

The second half saw a sterner defence from West Bank but the Sharks were in a try-scoring mood and added further tries through Lloyd, two, Lewis and Jack Sherratt, with Lewis adding three conversions.

Man-of-the-match for Sharks was Luke Walker with Jack Sherratt and Ryan Palin proving to be a handful in the forwards.

Sharks Luke Walker, Danny Hoyland, Carl Lloyd, Jack Lewis, Ian Ward, Aaron Holliday, Jack Lewis, Dave Walker, Rob Campbell, Lois Walsh, Ryan Palin, Mike Ward, Matthew Taylor, Matty Wilson, Phil Leonard, Jack Sherratt, Jack Cosgrove, Ben Walker.
