WARRINGTON Snooker Division One leaders Richmonds A had their lead cut to one point after losing 4-3 at Alford D.
Danny Thomas made a break of 57 as second-place Newton Social B sent Rylands A to the bottom of the table with a 5-2 defeat.
Third-place Irlam Catholic A had breaks of 42 from Arthur Stapley and 40 from Phil McKenna helping them beat GESM A 4-3.
Irlam Steelworks moved further clear of the relegation spots after beating Woolston A 4-3.
Bridgewater Club still lead Division Two after winning 5-2 at GESM B, but are now only three points ahead of Monks A after their 6-1 victory over Walkers B Third-place GESM C also saw their challenge falter after a 5-2 home defeat by GTBL B.
Division Three awaits the results of bye matches, but Kings Club C still lead after they won 5-2 against Woolston C.
