LYMM Hockey Club women’s fifth team are close to going up.
Lymm’s development side feature players aged 14 to 17, with a sprinkling of seniors, and need one point from their final two games against Neston and leaders Rhyl in order to gain promotion from Cheshire Women’s League Division Six.
At the weekend, the fifths defeated Macclesfield 6-1 with goals from forward Jess Impey, four, and midfielder Aoife Davenport, two.
Warrington Guardian photographer Dave Gillespie captured the action.
