BOXER Ryan Dunning won his latest fight by points’ decision.

The Hook and Job Police Boxing Club junior, in action on the West Wirral show, was pushed all the way to the final bell by wild card boxer Adam Carburry.

Both fighters kept up the tempo to show their fitness and determination.

But Dunning’s cleaner punches and speed of footwork were given the nod by the judges, taking his boxing record to five-out-of-five wins.

Hook and Jab would like to congratulate their head coach, who is also a Great Britain boxing coach, on her great achievement on passing her latest boxing coaching course which was taken in Italy in February.

Amanda Groarke is now one of the most highly-qualified amateur boxing coaches in the world.

Anyone wishing to work out at the Hook and Jab Boxing and Fitness Centre, now based in their new gym, for pure boxing fitness, or to compete in fully-licensed boxing contests for their own safety, contact Derek or Amanda Groarke on 737335. Boxing classes daily.
